Enchanting in Cataclysm is divided into several skill levels, ranging from Apprentice to Illustrious Grand Master, each with specific requirements and crafting recipes. To maximize efficiency and minimize costs, players may need to prepare by gathering or purchasing a list of materials in advance. This guide is crafted to navigate you through each level bracket, outlining the materials and steps required for each stage.

Instructions

1-2: First, purchase or acquire a Copper Rod. Then, use 1 Lesser Magic Essence and 1 Strange Dust to craft a Runed Copper Rod. This process will bring your skill up to level 2.
2-50: Once you have your Runed Copper Rod, start enchanting bracers with the “Enchant Bracer – Minor Health” recipe. This action should be repeated until your enchanting level reaches 50. You will need approximately 88 Strange Dust for this phase.

50-90: Craft Enchant Bracer – Minor Health for a total of 40 times to level up from 50 to 90. This will require 88 Strange Dust.
90-105: Switch to crafting Enchant Bracer – Minor Stamina for a total of 15 times to reach level 105, consuming 45 Strange Dust.
105-120: Move on to Enchant Bracer – Minor Agility, crafting it 15 times using 32 Strange Dust and 16 Greater Magic Essence in total.
120-121: Craft a single Runed Silver Rod using a Silver Rod, 6 Strange Dust, 3 Greater Magic Essence, and a Runed Copper Rod. This step will get you to level 121.
121-135: Finally, enchant Enchant Cloak – Minor Agility 14 times with 19 Lesser Astral Essence to reach level 135.

170-171: Create one Runed Golden Rod. You will need 1 Golden Rod, 1 Iridescent Pearl, 2 Greater Astral Essence, 2 Soul Dust, and 1 Runed Silver Rod.
171-180: Craft Enchant Bracer – Spirit 9 times using 9 Lesser Mystic Essence.
180-205: Enchant Enchant Bracer – Strength 25 times, requiring a total of 25 Vision Dust.
205-206: For this single level, create one Runed Truesilver Rod using 1 Truesilver Rod, 1 Black Pearl, 2 Greater Mystic Essence, 2 Vision Dust, 1 Runed Golden Rod.
206-220: Continue enchanting Enchant Bracer – Strength until you reach level 220, requiring an additional 19 Vision Dust.

265-275: Enchant Enchant Bracer: Greater Intellect 10 times using 30 Lesser Eternal Essence.
275-290: Create Wizard Oil 15 times, using 45 Illusion Dust, 30 Firebloom, and 15 Crystal Vial.
290-291: Create a Runed Arcanite Rod. You will need 1 Arcanite Rod, 10 Illusion Dust, 4 Greater Eternal Essence, 1 Runed Truesilver Rod, and 2 Large Brilliant Shard.
291-300: Enchant Enchant Shield: Vitality 9 times using 9 Greater Eternal Essence and 36 Illusion Dust.
