Guild Reputation

Another new feature for guilds in Cataclysm is Guild Achievements. These achievements are a lot like character achievements, except they require the collective effort of your guild to accomplish. Some of these achievements are needed to unlock guild rewards while others are just there for bragging rights.

What Counts as a Guild Group

Many of these achievements must be completed while in a Guild Group. A guild group is one in which the majority of the players are members of the guild. Here is the minimum number of guild members to form a guild group for each type of content:

• Arenas: the entire team
• Dungeons: 3
• Rated Battlegrounds: 8
• 10-player Raids: 8
• 25-player Raids: 20
• 20-player Raids: 8
• 40-player Raids: 10

When you are in a Guild Group, you will see your guild’s logo on the minimap while you’re inside an instance.

Guild Achievements in Cataclysm Classic

Below are all of the guild achievements that can be obtained in Cataclysm Classic along with any rewards they unlock and the number of guild achievement points they grant.

Achievements marked with an asterisk (*) won’t be visible in your UI until the achievement directly above is completed.

General

This category includes achievements for leveling characters of different races and classes. The culmination of these is Stay Classy/ Stay Classy, which require you to have a level 85 character of every Race/Class Combination to unlock your 8th guild vault tab. That means 45 different characters for Alliance and 46 for Horde. Many guilds will opt to tip level 85 characters to join the guild just long enough to unlock the achievements.

This is a tiny category of achievements that your guild can gradually earn by completing a lot of quests. So many quests.

Player vs. Player

These are general PvP achievements that your guild will gradually check off if you do a lot of PvP. The Slayer series of achievements requires killing a character of every possible race/class combination. You may find that it takes a while to check off some of those due to the rarity of some combinations.

Battlegrounds

Note that with the exception of 5-Cap Crew, all of these achievements require rated battlegrounds to complete. At least 8 of the team’s 10 members will need to be guild members for the achievements that require a guild group. Each of the titles that are listed are earned progressively by winning rated battlegrounds.

Arena

Similar to the battleground achievements above, you’ll need to compete in rated arenas for all of these. Except for the title achievements, you’ll also need to fight on a team where all of the participants are in the same guild.

This category includes the meta achievements for each era’s dungeon and raid achievements, all of which must be completed in a guild group. Scroll to the top of this guide to see how many guild members you will need for each dungeon/raid size. There are also achievements for having each of the legendary weapons in the guild. Dragonwrath and Fangs of the Father won’t be obtainable until the Firelands raid is released.

Cataclysm Raid

This category covers all of the achievements for raids from the Cataclysm expansion. These must all be completed in a guild group. The first set of achievements requires clearing all bosses in each raid and can be completed on Normal or Heroic difficulty. The second set requires completing the final boss in each dungeon on Heroic difficulty specifically. The Baradin Hold, Firelands, and Dragon Soul achievements won’t be obtainable until later phases.

These achievements will all be earned over time as your guild members gather and craft items with their Professions. You’ll want to have people fishing, cooking, and creating flasks in order to unlock some of the recipe rewards.

Guild Feats of Strength

Feats of Strength are achievements for accomplishments that are either extremely difficult to complete or no longer obtainable in the game. You won’t be able to see any of these achievements in the interface unless you have completed them.
