PvE Affliction Warlock Talents, Builds & Glyphs

With the arrival of Cataclysm, the talent system received a massive overhaul, changing from the 71 talent points system to a more compact 41 points system. As such, many of the old talents were either completely removed or changed, resulting in fewer possible build variations. One key aspect of the new system is that you must use at least 31 points in your main specialization to use the remaining 10 points in a secondary specialization.

The Standard Talent Build for Affliction Warlock has close to no flexibility when it comes to its talents, however, all talents grant powerful bonuses which makes up for the lack of versatility! While the Talent Tree itself was shrunk, most of the talents are fairly similar to their WotLk version, with only a few new additions. In terms of what’s new, we get three new powerful talents: Jinx, which is a huge buff to the Affliction specialization, allowing an easy use of the Curse of the Elements, Soul Swap which allows you to Multi-Dot far easier in Cleave encounters, and Soulburn: Seed of Corruption which makes it extremely easy to Multi-DoT in AoE encounters.

Possibly the most impactful change for the Affliction Talent Tree is the buff that Pandemic received, with your Drain Soul now refreshing Unstable Affliction whenever you cast it on targets below 25% HP, effectively massively empowering your Execution Phase.

Question: If my trinket procs and i cast unstable affliction and then upon expiration (after my proc has run out) refresh it via drain soul, will my unstable affliction still be empowered?
