The Hour of Twilight is upon us, with Phase 4 arriving next week for Cataclysm Classic. This phase brings the final raid of the expansion, Dragon Soul, as well as three new dungeons in the Caverns of Time. With this new content on the horizon, Blizzard has announced that they will also be reducing the difficulty of the current Firelands raid.

All enemies throughout the Firelands raid instance, including bosses, will see a 30% health and damage reduction via a new debuff, Power of Stormrage. You’ll be able to deactivate this debuff if you so choose by speaking with General Taldris Moonfall inside the raid.

This should make it a lot easier to pick up any loot you still want from the raid, including those who are still finishing their Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa’s Rest.

Greetings!

With the launch of the 4.4.2 Hour of Twilight patch next week, we’re implementing a 30% reduction to the health and damage of all bosses and other enemies in the Firelands raid. This will be done via a debuff that applies to all enemies, called Power of Stormrage.

Players who would prefer to deactivate the debuff can speak to General Taldris Moonfall inside the entrance of the Firelands raid and select the option to remove it.

See you there!
