With the Cataclysm Pre-patch next week and the launch scheduled for May 20th, Blizzard is squeezing in some last-minute testing on the Beta realms for Cataclysm Classic. This Friday, April 26th, Beta participants will be able to join the developers in-game to test out Rated Battlegrounds.
Rated Battlegrounds were added to the game in Cataclysm, pitting pre-made teams of 10 players against each other in existing battleground maps to earn a rating, similar to how arena teams work but on a larger scale.
Testing will take place from 1 to 3 PM PDT, or 4 to 6 PM Eastern. You’ll be able to create a level 85 template character for this event. Previously only level 80 characters could be made in the Beta.
Please join Blizzard developers in the Cataclysm Beta on Friday, April 26 at 1:00 p.m. PDT (4:00 p.m. EDT) as we test Rated Battlegrounds. Here are the details:
