As Assassination Rogues progress through the Mists of Pandaria they’ll seek items that increase their Hit, Expertise, Agility, Mastery, Haste, and Critical Strike Chance.
Phase 1 Best-in-Slot
This is the best gear you can obtain in Phase 1 of Mists of Pandaria, including gear from the three Tier 14 raids: Mogu’Shan Vaults, Heart of Fear, and Terrace of Endless Spring. Don’t forget to gem, enchant, and reforge every item to complete your optimization.
For Assassination Rogues both the T14 set bonuses are great, meaning that you will always want to activate the 4-item set bonus. You may even run a full 5-piece set with reforging or use a traditional 4-piece set during the first phase. Most of your items will have Mastery on them!
