Feral Druids in MoP Classic should prioritize Agility, Hit, and Expertise, followed by Mastery and Critical Strike Chance to maximize their damage output.
Stat Priority
- Agility
- Hit
- Expertise
- Mastery
- Critical Strike Chance
- Haste
- Weapon Damage
- Stamina
Agility is the primary stat for Feral Druids and the most significant source of damage. It increases their Attack Power and Critical Strike Chance, directly empowering their offensive abilities. You will stack as much as possible without dampening other stats.
Hit is a secondary stat that ensures your attacks land against higher-level mobs. You will need a 7.5% Hit Chance to never miss against level 93 bosses, with each 340 Hit granting a 1% Hit Chance.
Expertise is almost as important as Hit, ensuring attacks against higher-level mobs can’t be parried or dodged. You need 7.5% Expertise to ensure your attacks can’t be dodged and 15% Expertise to avoid being parried. 340 Expertise results in 1% Expertise. Reaching the 15% hard cap is often not worth it, as you will always want to sit behind the boss.
Mastery is the best secondary stat for Feral Druids since it empowers Mastery: Razor Claws, and their gameplay revolves around Bleed effects! You will want to stack a lot of Mastery to ensure your Bleeds deal as much damage as possible.
Critical Strike Chance is the next best stat for Feral Druids besides Mastery. It directly synergizes with the Primal Fury effect, generating more Combo Points and empowering all their attacks, including their Bleed DoT effects.
Haste increases your Attack Speed with melee attacks while increasing the rate at which your Energy regenerates. Haste is generally considered the weakest secondary stat, yet it should still be stacked to a certain point to ensure proper Energy regeneration. Unlike other DoT specializations, Bleed effects are not impacted by Haste!
Weapon Damage plays a massive role in how your kit functions. Besides the Attack Power increase from Agility, many of your abilities rely on Weapon Damage as a modifier. This means that higher Weapon Damage items should always be prioritized.
Stamina is a primary stat that increases your overall Health Pool. This stat is automatically found on all the required gear and should not be added through Enchants, Gems, or Consumables. You will want considerable Stamina to ensure you’re not a glass cannon.
Reforging
Reforging can only be performed on secondary stats! Feral Druids should reforge any invaluable stats to Hit/Expertise until they hit the cap. They should then focus on reforging any non-valuable stat into Mastery, followed by Critical Strike Chance. Some stats should also be reforged into Haste for better Energy regeneration.
- Hit/Expertise (7.5% Cap)
- Mastery
- Critical Strike Chance
- Haste
