Phase 1 Best-in-Slot

This is the best gear you can obtain in Phase 1 of Mists of Pandaria, including gear from the three Tier 14 raids: Mogu’Shan Vaults, Heart of Fear, and Terrace of Endless Spring. Don’t forget to gem, enchant, and reforge every item to complete your optimization.

Both item set bonuses from the Tier 14 set are pretty strong for Fire Mages, enhancing their Pyroblast Damage Output and reducing the overall cooldown of Combustion. You may run a full 5-piece set with reforging or use a traditional 4-piece set during the first phase.
