Fire Mages in Mists of Pandaria benefit the most from professions that increase their primary stat, Intellect. They favor professions that can grant the highest amount of raw Intellect to maximize their performance.
Best Professions
In Mists of Pandaria, many professions have uniform bonuses regarding raw stats, resulting in a bonus of 320 in that specific stat for primary stats and 640 for secondary stats. Some professions, such as Tailoring or Engineering, provide far greater bonuses, yet only for a limited duration.
The best professions for Fire Mage in MoP Classic are:
- Tailoring – Allows you to create valuable Cloth items and gives you access to Lightweave Embroidery and Sanctified Spellthread, resulting in a 2000 Intellect bonus for a short duration and a passive 165 Critical Strike Chance bonus. This is the highest Intellect bonus that you can acquire from professions.
- Engineering allows you to create Gadgets and Bombs and grants access to Synapse Springs, which grants a short 1920 Intellect buff.
