Gear is your character’s main source of power and progression in World of Warcraft. As Mistweaver Monks progress through Mists of Pandaria, they will seek to maintain consistent mana regeneration while also leaning more and more into their throughput stats.

Monks can use Cloth as well as Leather, but you should always wear Leather due to the 5% increased Intellect you receive through your Leather Specialization passive ability.
