As an Arms Warrior, there are some stats that we need to focus on, and utilizing gems, enchants, and consumables is a great to ensure that each stat is maximized. Since Fury and Arms Warriors may be called upon to finish tanking a boss if any tanks die, it’s always best practice to carry a shield with you.
Gems
Low-Gear Gems

- Yellow – Smooth Dawnstone
- Blue – none
- Red – Bold Living Ruby

Enchants
Armor
- Head: Glyph of Ferocity
- Shoulders: Greater Inscription of the Blade (Requires Exalted with The Scryers) or Greater Inscription of Vengeance (Requires Exalted with The Aldor)
- Honorable Mention: Technically better than both already mentioned, Might of the Scourge does require you to enter Naxxramas and kill Sapphiron in order to obtain it
- Cloak: Enchant Cloak – Greater Agility or Enchant Cloak – Subtlety
- Chest: Enchant Chest – Exceptional Stats
- Wrist: Enchant Bracer – Brawn or Enchant Bracer – Assault
- Hands: Enchant Gloves – Major Strength
- Legs: Nethercobra Leg Armor or Cobrahide Leg Armor (Likely a less expensive alternative)
- Feet: Enchant Boots – Dexterity or Enchant Boots – Surefooted (If you still need the Hit Rating) or Enchant Boots – Cat’s Swiftness
- Shield: Enchant Shield – Major Stamina or Felsteel Shield Spike
Weapons
- Two–Handed: Enchant 2H Weapon – Savagery or Enchant Weapon – Mongoose
- One–Handed: Enchant Weapon – Mongoose
Note: Enchant Weapon – Crusader was most tanks’ go-to weapon enchant back in Classic WoW, and some may think it’s still worthwhile having as a cheaper alternative to Enchant Weapon – Mongoose for their one-handed weapon choice but as the tool-tip suggests, level 70 players don’t benefit completely from Enchant Weapon – Crusader – in fact, no player level 61 and above will benefit from it to the same degree as we did at level 60 in Classic WoW.
Consumables
- Flasks: Flask of Relentless Assault
- If possible, I would recommend carrying at least one Flask of Fortification in case you’re chosen to help tank a mob or two
- Battle Elixirs: Elixir of Mastery, Fel Strength Elixir, Elixir of Demonslaying, Elixir of Major Agility
- If possible, I would recommend carrying at least one Elixir of Major Defense, just in case you’re called upon to tank a mob or two
- Guardian Elixirs: Elixir of Major Fortitude
- Food: Roasted Clefthoof, Spicy Hot Talbuk (Helps with maintaining your Hit Rating), Ravager Dog
- Potions: Haste Potion, Heroic Potion, Insane Strength Potion, Mighty Rage Potion, Free Action Potion, Super Healing Potion
Â
Crusader is still a decent enchant to have on your off hand weapon. Even at level 70 it still gives 69 str when it procs.
Crusader is a good enough alternative if you can’t afford Mongoose, but players should definitely be aiming for Mongoose. The mentioned enchant isn’t meant to be applied to an off-hand weapon – it’s only intended to be on weapon used with a shield (in case the Warrior has to help tank a mob or something)
