With every new phase that is released, this page will be updated to better reflect the gear available to players. On this page, we will cover the gear that is best to enter Heroics with, and our Pre-Raid Set, and then each phase’s BiS gearset. For the sake of simplicity and ease of access to certain items, I have only included PvP items that can be purchased with Honor Points, and have excluded PvP items that require Arena Points to purchase.

- Head: Helm of Assassination or Helm of the Claw (If you still need the Hit Rating)
- Neck: Natasha’s Choker (If you still need the Hit Rating) or Blood Guard’s Necklace of Ferocity
- Shoulders: Ragesteel Shoulders or Mantle of Perenolde
- Honorable Mention: Ripfiend Shoulderplates (Will likely be fairly expensive)
- Cloak: Cloak of the Inciter or Netherfury Cape
- Honorable Mention: Vengeance Wrap (This may be harder to obtain than the other two options)

“Is the Tier 4 Set bonuses worth equipping 2 or 4 pieces?”
Two–Piece Bonus: While Whirlwind IS part of your general rotation (whether to dump some rage, or on AoE pulls) you wouldn’t see enough benefit from a 5-point-rage reduction since, if we’re talking about bosses, it’s mainly to get rid of excess rage.
Four-Piece Bonus: Since most physical DPS will attack the boss from behind, our only concern would be of the boss dodging our attacks. With Weapon Mastery, we only need to reach a total of 18 Expertise Skill to remove their chance to dodge completely. If you’re using Shapeshifter’s Signet and are a Human, for example, that is 10 Expertise, leaving the boss only a 2% chance to dodge your attacks.
