Classic TBC will be released over five phases. Below you will find the Pre-Raid BiS and BiS gear for each Phase. With the release of each phase, this page will be updated.
It is important to remember that this guide assumes you have no Draenei Paladin, Warrior or Hunter for Heroic Presence in your group and zero Moonkins for Improved Faerie Fire, so that we are able to cover all bases in terms of required stats, just in case!

- The decision between these two trinkets revolves around you being hit capped or not. Romulo’s Poison Vial is reported to have a 3% chance on every attack to proc while Dragonspine Trophy has an average of 1 proc per minute (PPM) for roughly a 20% haste increase with a hidden 20-second cooldown

No sign of Claw of the Watcher or Void Talon anywhere?
What is Void Talon?
Edit: Do you mean Void-Talon?
This BiS list looks like it was written be a rogue who would not want you to know that Dragonspine Trophy, Skulker’s Greaves, and Edgewalker Longboots are actually Best-in-Slot for hunters.
Appreciate the comment. I’ve updated the list to better reflect this.
is the gear that’s positioned first the best of the options?
Generally, yes. There are times that the other items listed may be better for you, depending on if you need Hit, for example.
Ahm… this is completely wrong. Do you not know that fist weapons are BiS because of weightstones work?
Sorry it took so long to get back to you.
You are correct as weightstones are currently affecting ranged attacks, as well. I have updated the guide to better reflect this.
Thanks.
Legacy kara twohand?instead of daggers or sonic spear?
I apologize – I’m just slightly confused. Are you asking if I’d replace Sonic Spear with Legacy?
This BIS list is just wrong don’t use it, it has wrong set.
Why would it be the wrong set?
Is not beastlord 4 set- piece the best option?
I was under the impression that The Night Blade was not a personal buff, but rather a debuff, so as long as Blizzard keeps it that way and we don’t experience glitches with it, then, yes, the Beast Lord set would be considered BiS with the exception of Beast Lord Leggings since they provide the same amount of critical strike rating, but lower attack power than Demon Stalker Greaves.
I have now updated the guide to reflect that.
the night blade procs on ranged attacks?
It shouldn’t, no, since it requires a “chance on hit” to trigger.
whuuut the hell is wrong with this guide HAHA
I’m sorry it didn’t work for you. What do you think needs improvement?
Literally if it’s not beastlord everyone is crying
