As a Holy Paladin, there is a multitude of beneficial gems to improve our healing, survivability and sustainability. Below you will find the gems recommended for your Pre-Heroic/Raid gearset, along with the gems that are recommended for your raiding set.
We’ll start with your Pre-Heroic/Raid gems.

Enchants
Armor
- Head: Glyph of Renewal (Requires Revered with Honor Hold for Alliance and Revered with Thrallmar for Horde)

- Cloak: Enchant Cloak – Subtlety
- Chest: Enchant Chest – Restore Mana Prime or Enchant Chest – Exceptional Stats
- Wrists: Enchant Bracer – Superior Healing
- Hands: Enchant Gloves – Major Healing
- Legs: Golden Spellthread or Silver Spellthread (For a cheaper alternative)

It is worth mentioning that if you select Enchanting as one of your primary professions, you can enchant your rings with enchants unique to enchanters. The enchant we’d be focusing on would be Enchant Ring – Healing Power for both rings.

So what about us palas that went for the inte gemming, for spam HoL ? Workes fine 16k mana atm so can same quit a bit. And together whith the alch trinket that makes mana pots give more mana
You shouldn’t use haste potions as they only provide melee and ranged haste, not spell haste.
That is an excellent catch!
I’ve replaced Haste Potion with Destruction Potion in the guide.
You are absolutely correct in terms of Haste Potions not affecting spell haste. I would agree that it doesn’t see much benefit for Holy Paladins except for dire situations such as zero mana with Judgement of Wisdom on the boss to increase the speed in which they attack to potentially receive more procs.
It may also be helpful for longer fights to apply Superior Mana Oil to your weapons to provide additional mana regen. It may not seem like much, but an extra 14 mana per 5 can make a huge difference on certain boss fights.
Why is blackened basilisk on here? Holy Paladins don’t use spell damage or spirit.
