Ever since the release of the Zul’aman patch, Druid players have been reporting a peculiar shapeshifting issue wherein they could get stuck in Cat Form while only having access to their regular, caster-form ability bar & spells, which they cannot cast as they are considered to be in Cat Form. While this bug would typically resolve itself on its own after a few seconds, it has a very drastic impact in PvP, where being locked out of your abilities can be lethal, and to feral druids trying to power-shift in PvE.
It took Blizzard 10 days to respond to this issue, but in a post on the official forums, Aggrend has finally come to assure players that Blizzard is aware of this issue and believe it was resolverd by a new client update that was pushed on the March 29. Confusion ensued for a little bit as the Blizzard customer support Twitter account claimed that Blizzard is aware of the issue and are still working on it, but Aggrend once again came in to clarify that this was just a misunderstanding on the CS Twitter account’s part and the issue should be fully resolved, imploring players to report the issue again if it still persists.
So if you’re a druid player, hopefully this issue is fixed for you — and if it is not, make sure you report it to Blizzard, either on the bug report forum or to their support Twitter account.
