The Midsummer Festival event has finally begun on the TBC servers! This neat little event is a fan-favourite, as it allows players to gain some nice, easy gold by just flying around Azeroth. Unfortunately however, players quickly noticed a pretty significant issue with the event: the fires have not reset since last year, so if you did the event last year, you’re currently unable to do it again this year.

Thankfully, Kaivax chimed into the forum thread to let us know that Blizzard is aware of this issue, it is indeed a bug, and Blizzard are hoping to have a solution for it soon. So if you’re looking forward to getting some of that sweet Midsummer gold, just hold steady, it’ll be coming!

It’s a bug, and it’s been tricky to fix.

But we’re working on it and we hope to have a solution soon.
