Blizzard has announced that the upcoming phase 2 of The Burning Crusade Classic is now live on the PTR (public test realm).
Phase 2 will see the release of two raid instances, Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep The Eye, in addition to guild banks, a looking for group tool, and arena season 2.
It’s worth noting here that the LFG tool mentioned is not how it works in retail or even in Wrath of the Lich King. In the original TBC release there was a LFG tool more akin to a bulletin board system.
Here are some screenshots of the LFG Tool from the PTR client.
Bring down Illidan Stormrage’s lieutenants in the upcoming patch, Overlords of Outland! Starting now, you’ll be able to test all the patch has to offer on the PTR. Simply copy your character over and explore what awaits before the patch goes out later this year.

Guild Banks
Share raid and dungeons spoils amongst your guildmates with the Guild Bank! This in-game storage allows guild members to withdraw and deposit items and currency, making it easier to determine at glance what consumables you have available (or need to make!) for your next group activity.
Group Browser Tool
Find like-minded players and make new friends with the Group Browser Tool. Simply list your class and specialization so group leaders on your realm can invite you to their party or raid.
All of this content is now live on the PTR so you can explore first-hand what awaits you in Overlords of Outland.
Does anyone know how long a patch usually stays on the PTR? Would like to know what kind of launch date are we looking at
4-6 weeks, but likely it will launch August 31st to combat the New World release date as its also on a Tuesday.
A PTR test goes for 33 minutes
Any confirmation on what’s happening to arena points when phase 2 hits?
Arena points go to zero, and the points you had convert to honor. I think it was 10 honor per Arena Point.
Do you keep all the honor points you earned?
No, they will be reset (kinda…..you won’t be able to purchase any significantly good pvp gear with honor, arena rating from Season 1 items will be removed, but they do have reduced Arena point costs)
https://tbc.wowhead.com/news/burning-crusade-ptr-notes-outland-faction-pvp-gear-coming-in-phase-2-honor-not-323683
Check the blue post
Honor will not be reset at the beginning of Season 2. When Season 1 ends, there will be a two-week off-season period. When Season 2 begins, any remaining unspent Arena points will be converted to Honor Points at a rate of: 1 Arena Point = 10 Honor Points.
Patch notes say you will have 2 weeks to spend your points after the patch goes live.
Does anyone know if T4 tokens will be exchangeable for S1 gear in phase 2?
