In this guide, we will focus on one build for the Enhancement Shaman – it revolves around the use of Stormstrike and Lightning Shield. This build offers high damage at the cost of reduced survivability.
The high damage of the Enhancement Shaman comes from Stormstrike, the main ability set at the center of this specialization. It is an instant-cast, inflicting massive damage on your enemies. Lava Lash is another instant-cast damaging ability you will find yourself spamming: it will complement your impressive burst capabilities quite well. Furthermore, we will need Feral Spirit, which provides you with a pack of trusty wolf companions that will chase your enemies in a bloodthirsty rush.
In addition, this build will benefit greatly from the generous boost to its critical strike chance rating provided by the combination of Thundering Strikes and Elemental Devastation.
Note that without points invested into Toughness, the build suffers with survivability: it will have to rely on the allies to remain alive.

currently using this build, and it works great for leveling as well at lvl 70. I am sure it will perform well at 80 too once we are done with the pre-patch.

Interesting build, but stating that Stormstrike was the main source of damage for enhancer is just untrue. Edit: I just read the rotation part and deleted my other critique. Still, people might get confused of the fact, that stormstrike itself doesnt do much dps but it surely fuels maelstrom proccs and flurry ofc and keeps ypu going over all.
I would like to add that without a proper addon, e.g. a weak aura, i would not recommend weaving lightning bolt since if you do not cast it inbetween your swings, you delay your hits and lose damage in the end.
