Besides your gear and talents, there are 3 additional ways you as a player can increase your character’s power: gems, enchants, and consumables, which make your character significantly more powerful when combined correctly. Many guilds and raid groups may not invite you at all if you don’t have the correct gems, enchants and consumables — but worry not, this guide will help you avoid that problem!

Gems

When it comes to gems, you will want to stack as much haste as possible. You will mostly want to respect socket bonuses, with the exception of Spirit bonuses — if you have gear that offers Spirit socket bonuses, then you should choose Yellow Gems for that specific socket.

This will be the best meta gem that you can acquire, especially since we can become quite mana-hungry.

When it comes to your red sockets, you will want to have Reckless Monarch Topaz / Reckless Ametrine throughout the entirety of the expansion. You also have the option to go for Runed Scarlet Ruby/Runed Cardinal Ruby if you find yourself with way too much haste.

When it comes to your yellow sockets, you will want to use Quick Autumn’s Glow & Quick King’s Amber for increased haste rating. If you have access to Jewelcrafting, you will want to use 3 x Quick Dragon’s Eye.

When it comes to your blue sockets, you will want to use Energized Forest Emerald / Energized Eye of Zul in all your sockets to gain the socket bonus. However, you you also have the option of using one Enchanted Tear/Nightmare Tear for overall increased stats.

Enchants

This will be the best enchantment that you can get if you have enough MP5. If you lack MP5, you will want to get Arcanum of Blissful Mending instead.

Players with the Tailoring profession should use their profession-exclusive Lightweave Embroidery enchant here, while everyone else uses Greater Speed.

Players with the Engineering profession should use their profession-exclusive Hyperspeed Accelerators enchant here. If you do not have access to Engineering, you should use Enchant Gloves – Exceptional Spellpower instead.

This will be the best enchantment for this slot, however, it is a unique enchantment only available to players that have Enchanting as a profession.

Consumables

Flask of Pure Mojo will be our standard flask, it, provides MP5 — take it if you lack mana regeneration. If you find yourself having a large amount of mana regeneration, use Flask of the Frost Wyrm instead.

The most common buff food found in raids is Fish Feast. Most of the time you will join your group by partaking in the feast. However, if you lack MP5, you will want to consume Spicy Fried Herring instead. If you are close to capping your GCD at 1 second but you lack just a tiny bit of Haste Rating, your best bet will be Imperial Manta Steak

Potion of Wild Magic is the best pot that you can use for pre-potting since it will help us generate procs faster. Potion of Speed should be kept for critical moments during an encounter. Depending on your current Haste Rating, you will either want to stack it with your Heroism/Bloodlust, or keep it for a dangerous moment right after Bloodlust or Heroism were used.

You can still use scrolls in Wrath of the Lich King — however, they do not stack with stat-boosting effects offered by class buffs.

would be good to have the alternative enchant of feet

For hands it states a cloak enchant as the alternative, tell us what’s the correct one if you can. ^_^

Great catch, I will fix that promptly! You are supposed to use Enchant Gloves – Exceptional Spellpower instead. But that only applies if you don’t have Engineering!

Hello, for legs enchant there is one with 50sp and 20 satmina instead if spirit one
