In this section we will be covering ideal glyphs, gems, enchants, and consumables to give you the ultimate fighting chance in PvP in Wrath of the Lich King!
Glyphs
Major Glyphs
- Glyph of Starfall – reduces the Starfall cooldown by 30 seconds.
- Glyph of Monsoon – reduces the cooldown of Monsoon by 3 seconds.
- Glyph of Insect Swarm – increases Insect Swarm damage by 30%, but no longer reduces the target’s hit chance.
- Glyph of Moonfire – increases the periodic damage of Moonfire by 75%, but decreases the initial damage by 90% (Good alternative to the Glyph of Monsoon).
Minor Glyphs
- Glyph of Unburdened Rebirth – removes the need for a reagent for Rebirth.
- Glyph of Dash – reduces your dash cooldown by 20%.
- Glyph of the Wild – reduces your mana cost by 50% for both the Mark of the Wild, and Gift of the Wild.

Why would you use the pyro rocket on gloves instead of on-use haste?
Why would you not put spell penetration on cloak?
Glyphing moonfire will ruin your ability to moonfire spam when that’s all you can do to finish a foe before he escapes or something.
This guide seems a bit off to me.
In all fairness, I should have added Hyperspeed Accelerators as well! The rocket is just a good alternative for moments in which you can not stand still and cast. The build was made in a way that you can use 3 blue gems to acquire the minimum 75 spell penetration, however, you can choose to use the cloak spell pen enchantment if you want to acquire more. Regarding Moonfire, it is a bit tricky, since you are entirely correct that it can be used as an execution tool. However, I suggested it as a viable choice due to the large portion of DoT damage that can be done to a target during the fight itself. It is basically a trade-off.
There are multiple ways to play a balance druid, you can choose what fits the best for you!
