When it comes to the best professions in the game for Subtlety Rogue, it really all depends on what you are trying to achieve. In this guide, we’ll cover both professions that only enhance your character’s stats and have little value for generating gold as well as professions that are mainly used for generating gold (and offer a lot fewer stats or items enhancements).

Best Professions for Stats

Like with most other classes & specs in the game, Engineering is a very strong choice, and Tailoring is essential for your spec as well.

When it comes to all the DPS classes that wish to min-max their stats for end-game content, Engineering becomes almost a necessity. HyperSpeed Accelerators will significantly boost your overall damage, allowing you to proc your poison damage more often. Other than the haste buff which you can use every 48 seconds, you can also benefit from Nitro Boosts to escape certain deadly situations.

Even if the idea of a cold-blooded assassin knitting a cloak in their spare time while sipping on some tea as a hobby might sound completely insane to you, Tailoring actually provides one of the best stat enhancements in the game for melee classes. Not only that you can create epic items to sell on the auction house or simple bolts of cloth but you will also gain access to the very powerful enchantment Swordguard Embroidery.

Best Professions for Gold Generation

If you aren’t worried about min-maxing your stats, and you don’t want to be poor, the following professions are all viable choices.

Alchemy is one of the most versatile professions you can have in the game, offering an assortment of useful effects from potions and flasks; it’s also a very capable way of loading your bags with shiny gold. If you are going to select Alchemy as your main profession it would be a good idea to pair it up with Herbalism, since the cost of the herbs might be too high for you to realistically acquire them from the Auction House.

This profession will generate very good income, especially when paired with Alchemy. It also offers one potentially good life-saving ability for PvP scenarios, this being, Lifeblood offers a heal over time effect that can save you in clutch situations. Pairs well with Alchemy to create a hefty amount of gold

 This profession allows you to gather ore from all around the world, providing you with a hefty amount of materials that you can sell in the auction house for a large profit. It is also mandatory for leveling Engineering as the profession requires an absurd amount of materials.

Jewlcrafting/blacksmithing is bis for pvp rogues, nothing comes close, agility scales better for cloack enchant compared to a temp ap buff that loses steam in later phases of wotlk which were about to be season 7

engineering provides almost no value for arena as on classic we can’t use any of the boots and hand rocket just sucks after season 5 and 6, 2k dmg rocket or a crappy haste buff (not really that great on melee) over end game stat enchant is not worth taking engineering for pure pvp.

and since there is only 1 server globally that has world pvp on classic, engineering loses even more value.

Jc/blacksmithing is bis powerful gems and a 2nd soc will benefit you more.

i’m confuse about seson 7 , seson 6 what is that? i know as patch version 3.3.5 etc or phase 1, 2, 3, 4.
What is seson 7?

someone know if tailoring and engenering is the best for pvp?
