In my opinion, phase 3 I’d go hc bryntroll and with phase 4 if you can’t get shadowmourne, as trinks it’s double deaths choice/verdict if you’re playing human, both phase 3&4. Going straight pvp is great making you tanky and great for bgs, but then you lack damage output. In arenas, if you have a solid hpal you could honestly get away with 950-1050 resilience. Then you have a better capability of bursting people down….least that was my exp back when 3.3.5 was live and my buddy and I went 2k in 2s.
Hey there! So, the thing is that items are available depending on the phase that you find yourself in. You can not get Bryntroll in phase 3 since ICC is not available in Phase 3. I agree that Bryntroll Hc is a good choice if you do not have access to Shadowmourne, but that is phase 4. You can also play with only 900-950 resilience if you got a good healer on your team, with that I fully agree!
Thanks for the guide but something look wrong for me. Their is no way u get the melee hit cap of 5% (164 hit rating) if we follow closely your guide.
Thank you for the feedback! I will look for any inconsistencies that result in that problem. You can avoid it for the last phase with the Hybrid build, but I am guessing I will have to specify for each phase which enchantments/gems/item adjustments will be required.

there is actually a helmet for wintergrasp mark of honor that has more resilience then deadly glad helmet has, but it does have less stamina, strenght and hit rating instead of crit so I guess it is still worse.
hey, thanks for your guide! I was wondering, isn’t DMC:Berserker better than Anvil? It’s a 50% proc chance with no icd vs 10% proc chance with 50s icd. I understand the Anvil proc might be stronger but uptime might be scuffed especially in arena. Or am I missing something?

And why do you use wowclassicdb.com? It’s really bad compared to Wowhead. No drop chance or prices, no comments, and sometimes just wrong or incomplete information. E.g. Mjolnir Runestone says 0% Chance in Cache of Storms but its actually Thorim Hardmode 17%

Is there a second choice on deaths verdict? Im the tank for my main raid and its really put me behind on the item choices i have for pvp. I most likely will not get that ring for like 5-6 weeks and i will never get the trinket…
