Welcome to the section of the Mount Collection Guide that we will be focusing on mounts that drop from raid encounters throughout all of Classic World of Warcraft and its expansions.

Classic WoW

Swift Razzashi Raptor

Within Zul’Gurub, players will find Bloodlord Mandokir. If you defeat him, you have a 1-2% chance of Swift Razzashi Raptor dropping.

Because of Zul’Gurub resetting every 72 hours, players can have two chances at this mount per week.

Swift Zulian Tiger

Within Zul’Gurub, players will find High Priest Thekal. If you defeat him, you have between 0.9 – 2% chance of Swift Zulian Tiger dropping.

Because of Zul’Gurub resetting every 72 hours, players can have two chances at this mount per week.

Honorable Mentions

Within Ahn’Qiraj, players may find the following mounts:

While these mounts are very unique, unfortunately, they are only usable within Ahn’Qiraj. The other mount associated with Ahn’Qiraj was the Black Qiraji Battle Tank. Unfortunately, this mount is no longer obtainable as it was a reward for a select few during the Opening of Ahn’Qiraj. The quest was called Bang a Gong!

The Burning Crusade Classic

Fiery Warhorse’s Reins

During your time in Karazhan, you will have the opportunity for Attumen the Huntsman to drop this mount. It is reported that Fiery Warhorse’s Reins has just a 1% chance to drop!

If you are fortunate enough to obtain this mount, you will also be the proud owner of the achievement, Fiery Warhorse’s Reins.

Ashes of Al’ar

One of the more sought-after mounts currently in World of Warcraft Classic, the Ashes of Al’ar has a 2% chance to drop from Kael’thas Sunstrider in Tempest Keep: The Eye.

If you are one of the lucky players who obtains this mount, you’ll also receive the achievement, Ashes of Al’ar.
