Blizzard Disables Free Transfers to NA-Angerforge & EU-Jin'do - WotLK Classic

As the first batch of Fresh servers proved to be incredibly popular, fearing overpopulation and lag issues, just over 2 weeks ago Blizzard launched 2 new fresh servers: Angerforge in NA, and Jin’do in the EU. They also allowed players on the previous Fresh servers (Skyfury & Thekkal, respectively) to claim a free character transfer to these new fresh servers, alleviating these concerns.

This appears to have worked, as both Angerforge & Jin’do appear to be doing very well. Thus, Blizzard announced that they will be shortly hutting down the free character transfer to those server.

If you’re a new player seeking a well-populated server to play on, but would rather avoid some of the bigger “Full” servers, these servers just might be the ones for you!

At about 7:00 p.m. PDT (10:00 p.m. EDT) today, we intend to disable the Skyfury to Angerforge Free Character Transfer path. It will not be possible to initiate a transfer from Skyfury to Angerforge after that time.

At about 04:00 CEST today, we intend to disable the Thekal to Jin’do Free Character Transfer path. It will not be possible to initiate a transfer from Thekal to Jin’do after that time.
