Players are abuzz with activity now that the Wrath of the Lich King pre-patch has officially come! People are scuttling about, trying out their new talents, getting gems for their gear, glyphs for their new specs, playing new Death Knight characters, and absolutely flooding the auction house with items — on several larger realms, the auction house was reduced to a snail’s pace due to the incredible amount of activity thanks to people coming back to the game to try out the new patch. That is along a myriad of other issues on those popular servers, like login queues.
Blizzard has decided to be proactive with these servers and has immediately restricted transfers, blocking people from transferring their characters to the following realms:

Furthermore, they have gone 1 step further and enabled their free character migration service. Specifically, you can transfer from the following servers, to the following servers:

Kaivax warns that these Free Character Transfers may be closed at any time without prior warning, so players who are interested in moving out of their server if they’re happy with the server’s current situation to do so ASAP.

What about a low population transfer, I am in Westfall as Horde and there are barely any Horde to run raids or consistent dungeons?
Exactly. I’m on Pyrewood Village as Horde and it’s become exclusively Alliance now. There should be either an option to transfer or some kind of restriction made to balance the population.
Or tell new people that it is alliance server or a horde server before they join.
Should allow free transfer’s from any of the server’s unable to be transfer into, Like Mankrik US
Planned on playing with people i know. Tried to open a ticket to get a move, pretty much got ignored for 3 weeks. Terrible response after that long wait and no way to respond back to them. I cant transfer to the realm thats closed pretty disappointing. more reasons to just quit playing again.
