Players are no doubt extremely excited to try out the new content that Blizzard just added to the WotLK beta — raids and arenas above all.
To make it easier for players to test the new goodies out, Blizzard has added level 80 templates — meaning players with access to the WotLK beta can create characters of any class who begin at level 80 and have some decent level 80 equipment. Furthermore, vendors in Dalaran now sell special supplies to help players out: glyphs, gems, enchants, consumables, and most importantly for those eager to try out arena, PvP gear.
It is currently unknown how long the raid tests will last for, or if these special vendors will stay after the raid testing period is over, like they did during the TBC Beta. Thus, if you’re interested in trying out a level 80 character with decent gear and glyphs, it’s strongly recommended that you do so now! And judging by the sheer amount of players on the beta, it seems that a lot of people took up Blizzard on that offer!
