This guide will cover how to get the Binding Heal rune for Priests in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.
- Rune: Binding Heal

- Class: Priest
- Slot: Back
- Added: Phase 4
- Level: 48 (Required)
How to Get the Binding Heal Rune
To get the Binding Heal rune, you must be at least level 48, or you will not be able to get the quest. Head to the following NPC for your faction to pick up the quest Lost Heirloom:
High Priestess Laurena at Stormwind Cathedral in Stormwind City (39, 27)
Dietrich Praice at the Valley of Spirits in Orgrimmar (36, 87)
This quest will send you to Sorrow Hill Crypt in Western Plaguelands. Note that this crypt is densely packed with undead, so you may have an easier time if you bring some help. The mobs here are around level 51.
Enter the crypt to collect the following three items for the quest:
- Family Heirloom: take the first left and go down the first stairs and look to the right (54.8, 81.2)
- Family Records: go all the way to the bottom and look on a bookshelf on the right (53.8, 80.2)
- Survivor Journal: still on the bottom level, look for it on a table to the left (54.1, 80.7)
When you have the items, return to your quest giver to turn them in and pick up a new quest, Relic of Light.
Head to Hearthglen at the north end of Western Plaguelands and enter the town hall. You’ll find the book you need for the quest on the podium inside.
Return again to your quest giver and pick up the next one, Scarlet Research. This quest will send you to Tyr’s Hand in Eastern Plaguelands. Climb the bell tower there (84, 78) and look for a locked box which will give you the quest The Prize Within. (While you’re here, you can also grab the Holy Specialization Rune, which is in the same place!)
Kill enemies nearby to loot the key, or have a Rogue friend pickpocket it from them. Once you have the key, loot the box and return one last time to your quest giver to get the Jubilant Epiphany, which will teach you the rune.
