How to Get the Cobra Strikes Rune
As of Phase 6, all runes and skill books can be purchased from Rune Brokers in starting zones and major cities for 1 copper a piece. Each of these vendors is simply named “Rune Broker” and can be easily spotted by their purple glow, lurking very close to where new characters enter the game. You can see all of their locations in our guide below.
Original Discovery Method
To get the Cobra Strikes rune, head to Hillsbrad Foothills and look for Zixil, the wandering goblin vendor, along the road there. He patrols between Tarren Mill and Southshore, stopping for a while at the tower in the middle. He sells Freshwater Snapper Bait for 20
. Buy some and head to the lake southeast of Tarren Mill.
Use the bait on a small boat to spawn Koartul, a level 25 elite turtle. Kill it to loot your Rune of Cobra Strikes.
