This guide will cover how to get the Crimson Tempest rune for Rogues in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.
To get the Crimson Tempest rune, find your way to Hearthglen, the undead city/town in the northern part of Western Plaguelands and kill or pick pocket Scarlet Workers until you receive a Toolbox Key.
Go to the smithy, a building in Hearthglen proper, and loot the Rusty Crowbar from a Scarlet Toolbox (45, 14).
Travel to the top of the south tower, around 45, 19 and indicated by (1), and use your crowbar on the Marked Crate at the top to loot a Hidden Bundle, which has a Safe Box Key inside.
Now, go to the tower across from you, around 47, 14 as indicated by (2), and loot Belavus’ Safe Box on the middle level of the tower to get your Rune of the Crimson Tempest.
