This guide will cover how to get the Fire Specialization rune, one of the new class-agnostic utility runes added in Phase 4 of Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Fire Specialization Rune

As of Phase 6, all runes and skill books can be purchased from Rune Brokers in starting zones and major cities for 1 copper a piece. Each of these vendors is simply named “Rune Broker” and can be easily spotted by their purple glow, lurking very close to where new characters enter the game. Original Discovery Method

The Rune of Fire Specialization is located deep in the Slag Pit in Searing Gorge next to Overseer Maltorius around (41.8, 35.4). The rune can be looted from a red book on the table with the title Elements for Dummies Volume II: Fire.
