This guide will cover how to get the Fresh Meat rune for Warriors in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Fresh Meat Rune
As of Phase 6, all runes and skill books can be purchased from Rune Brokers in starting zones and major cities for 1 copper a piece. Each of these vendors is simply named “Rune Broker” and can be easily spotted by their purple glow, lurking very close to where new characters enter the game. You can see all of their locations in our guide below.
Original Discovery Method
To get the to the Fresh Meat rune, travel to Blackrock Stronghold in Burning Steppes (43.0, 36.0). Kill mobs here back-to-back with Execute until you get the Rhythm of War buff. Reports on how many mobs you need to kill vary, but orc mobs are recommended.
Once you get the buff, head to the altar behind the keep (39.0, 27.0) and use the /salute emote in front of it to spawn a Revered Champion, a level 58-60 Rare Elite undead. Defeat it to get the quest Legacy of Valor, which you can turn in at the altar for your Rune of the First Warrior as well as an Old Guard Retaliator.
