This guide will offer a detailed, step-by-step tutorial on how to deal with Ghamoo-Ra, the long-tortured giant turtle of Blackfathom Deeps.
TL;DR

Raid Composition & Preparation
For this fight, you will need 2 tanks to taunt swap for Sunder Armor.
The Pull
Before you start the fight, make sure you clear all of the turtles on the platform. Keep an eye out for Ghamoo-Ra though, as he patrols the outer edge of the arena. When you engage, your tanks should keep to the outer edges of the land.
The Fight
Ghamoo-Ra will regularly start flooding the area around him with blue-ish orbs of water. Stepping on these will deal heavy damage and knock the player back, easily chaining into more orbs. To best handle this, tanks should consistently move the boss while the orb phase is active, not allowing any one area to become too saturated with orbs.
The boss will also have a barrier called “Aqua Shell”. When the damage absorption effect is broken, Ghamoo-Ra will recast it after a delay, dealing massive unavoidable AoE damage to everyone in the raid. This can be mitigated with spells like Divine Sacrifice and Power Word: Barrier, but will still require significant raid healing.
Finally, tanks will periodically debuffed with a Sunder Armor style debuff. This necessitates constant taunt swapping at around 2 stacks to avoid your tank taking too much damage.
