Vanilla WoW Hunters Level 60 Enchantment Guide

A handy guide to help hunters enchant their gear at level 60. You can also use this guide for twinking hunter characters. As a note we’ve added the source for enchants:

• [E] – enchanter or engineer (only in scopes) player character (if he has recipe)
• [Q] – quest of some kind

The totals for the current best enchantments you can get comes to +48 Ranged Attack Power, +30 Attack Power, +2% Hit, +53 Stamina, +51 Agility (or 46 Agility depending are you using 1h or 2h weapon), +4 Intellect, +4 Spirit, +4 Strength, and +7 ranged damage.

Head

• Best:
  • Falcon’s Call – Adds 24 Ranged Attack Power, 10 Stamina, and 1% chance to Hit. You can get this from quest in Zul-Gurub, reputation with Zandalar Tribe must be at least Friendly. [Q]
• Alternatives:
  • Lesser Arcanum of Voracity – Adds +8 Agility. You can get this item by doing quest, for which you can buy some required materials on auction house if you want, but it wont be cheap. [Q]
  • Arcanum of Rapidity – Adds 1% Haste. You can get this item by doing quest, for which you can buy some required materials on auction house if you want, but it wont be cheap. [Q]

Shoulders

• Best:
  • Zandalar Signet of Might – Adds 30 Attack Power.
    You can get this item by getting Exalted reputation with Zandalar Tribe and doing quest. [Q]
• Alternatives:
  • Mantle of the dawn adds different resistances +5, your reputation must be Exalted with Argent Dawn to get this item. [Q]

Back

• Best:
  • Enchant Cloak – Lesser Agility – Adds +3 Agility.
    Very common recipe and very cheap materials (Lesser Nether Essence x2). [E]
• Alternatives:
  • Enchant Cloak – Greater Resistance – Adds +5 to all resistances.
    Rare recipe and expensive materials (Lesser Eternal Essence x2, Heart of Fire, Core of Earth, Globe of Water, Breath of Wind, Ichor of Undeath). [E]

Chest

• Best:
  • Enchant Chest – Greater Stats – Adds +4 all stats.
    Very rare recipe and very expensive materials (Large Brilliant Shardx4, Illusion Dustx15, Greater Eternal Essencex10). [E]
• Alternatives:
  • Enchant Chest – Stats – Adds +3 all stats.
    Common recipe and affordable materials (Large Radiant Shard x1, Dream Dust x3, Greater Nether Essence x2). [E]
  • Enchant Chest – Major Health – Adds +100 health.
    Common recipe and affordable materials (Illusion Dust x6, Small Brilliant Shard x1), more suited for PVP. [E]
  • Enchant Chest – Major Mana – Adds +100 mana.
    Rare recipe and affordable materials (Greater Eternal Essence x1,Small Brilliant Shard x1), more suited for PVE. [E]

Wrist

• Best:
  • Enchant Bracer – Superior Stamina – Adds +9 Stamina.
    Common recipe and affordable materials (Illusion Dust x15), good all around, best PVP choice. [E]
• Alternatives:
  • Enchant Bracer – Greater Intellect – Adds +7 Intellect.
    Rare recipe and cheap materials (Lesser Eternal Essence x3), suited for PVE. [E]
  • Enchant Bracer – Mana Regeneration – Adds restore 4 mana every 5 seconds.
    Common recipe and expensive materials (Illusion Dust x16, Greater Eternal Essence x4, Essence of Water x2), suited for PVE. [E]
  • Enchant Bracer – Minor Agility – Adds +1 Agility.
    Very common recipe and very cheap materials (Strange Dust x2, Greater Magic Essence x1). [E]

Hands

• Best:
  • Enchant Gloves – Superior Agility – Adds +15 Agility [E]
• Alternatives:
  • Enchant Gloves – Greater Agility – Adds +7 Agility.
    Rare recipe and affordable materials (Lesser Eternal Essence x3, Illusion Dust x3). [E]
  • Enchant Gloves – Minor Haste – Adds +1% Haste.
    Very common and cheap materials (Large Radiant Shard x2, Wildvine x2). [E]

Legs

• Best:

  • Enchant Boots – Greater Agility – Adds +7 Agility.
    Common recipe and expensive materials (Greater Eternal Essence x8). [E]
• Alternatives:
  • Enchant Boots – Minor Speed – Adds minor speed (running) increase on boots.
    Common recipe and affordable materials (Small Radiant Shard x1, Aquamarine x1, Lesser Nether Essence x1), best suited PVP. [E]

1 handed weapon

• Best:
  • Enchant Weapon – Agility – Adds +15 Agility.
    Common recipe and very expensive materials (Large Brilliant Shard x6, Greater Eternal Essence x6, Illusion Dust x4, Essence of Air x2). [E]
• Alternatives:
  • Enchant Weapon – Mighty Intellect – Adds +22 Intellect.
    Rare recipe and extremely expensive materials (Large Brilliant Shard x15, Greater Eternal Essence x12, Illusion Dust x20). [E]

2 handed weapon

• Best:
  • Enchant 2H Weapon – Agility – Adds +25 Agility.
    Rare recipe and extremely expensive materials (Large Brilliant Shard x10, Greater Eternal Essence x6, Illusion Dust x14, Essence of Air x4). [E]
• Alternatives:
  • To save some money you can do 1h weapon enchantments to 2h weapon. [E]

Ranged weapon

• Best:
  • Sniper Scope – Adds +7 damage on weapon.
    Common recipe and cheap mats (Mithril Tube x1, Star Ruby x1, Truesilver Bar x2). [E]
• Alternatives:
  • Biznicks 247×128 Accurascope – Adds +3 Hit.
    Extremely rare recipe and extremely expensive materials (Lava Core x2, Essence of Earth x2, Dark Iron Bar x6, Thorium Tube x1, Delicate Arcanite Converter x4), it will be cheaper just gather gear with 8+ Hit (which is cap), but if you are super rich and have 5 Hit or less you can put this on.
