How to Get the Mark of Chaos Rune

As of Phase 6, all runes and skill books can be purchased from Rune Brokers in starting zones and major cities for 1 copper a piece. Each of these vendors is simply named “Rune Broker” and can be easily spotted by their purple glow, lurking very close to where new characters enter the game. You can see all of their locations in our guide below.

Original Discovery Method

For your Mark of Chaos rune, first travel to the Western Plaguelands and use Drain Soul on Skeletal Flayers or Slavering Ghouls to get 3 Plagued Soul Shards.

Take the shards to one of the following NPCs, depending on your faction, to get your rune:

Pixi Pilfershard at Chillwind Camp in Western Plaguelands (43.4, 84.1)
Prazik Pilfershard at The Bulwark in Tirisfal Glades (83.1, 72.7)
