New Avalon Leatherworking Quests for Phase 8 of Season of Discovery (SoD)

Phase 8 of Season of Discovery has added a couple of new quests for the Leatherworking profession. These quests award two new patterns, one for a quiver and one for an ammo pouch. There is also a new crafting station for Leatherworkers, the Crusader’s Tanning Rack, which is required for crafting the Leather and Mail versions of the Scarlet Uniform.

Where to Start the Quests

The quests for Leatherworking are offered by Kyndra Swiftarrow, who is found at the shooting range near the apple orchard. You will need to be wearing a disguise in order to pick up her quests, but she does not attack you even if she is marked as an enemy.

Pin Cushion

This quest is the first one offered by Kyndra Swiftarrow. She wants you to collect 25 Holly Arrows.

Holy Arrows can be picked up on the ground around the shooting range. They can also be looted from Scarlet Trainees, but it should be much easier to just pick them up.

Completing this quest will get you Pattern: Scarlet Quiver, allowing you to craft a new epic 30-slot quiver, Scarlet Quiver.

Bullet Heaven

After completing the quest above, Kyndra Swiftarrow offers this follow-up. It requires handing in 1000

• Thorium Bar x10
• Dense Blasting Powder x5
  • Dense Stone x10

Turning in this quest will earn you Pattern: Scarlet Ammo Pouch, which teaches you to craft a new epic 30-slot ammo pouch, Scarlet Ammo Pouch.

Crusader’s Tanning Rack Location in New Avalon

In addition to the quests and patterns above, Phase 8 added a new crafting station for Leatherworkers that is required for crafting the Leather and Mail versions of the Scarlet Uniform. The Crusader’s Tanning Rack is found beside Tanya Hide, the Leatherworking Supplies vendor who is upstairs in the larger building beside the shooting range.
