Paladin Skill Books
In addition to runes, there are also skill books in the game that will teach you new spells. Here are the skill books that are available for Paladins in Season of Discovery. Paladin Runes
One important thing to note when collecting Paladin runes is that most of them are learned through librams, which are equipped in your character’s relic slot. You will need to open your character window and activate them from there in order to learn the rune. Each libram has its own requirements that must be met before it can be activated.
Paladin Runes From Rune Brokers
All runes can now be purchased from Rune Brokers in starting zones and major cities for 1 copper a piece. Each of these vendors is simply named “Rune Broker” and can be easily spotted by their purple glow, lurking very close to where new characters enter the game. You can see all of their locations in our guide below.
Horn of Lordaeron, Divine Steed, and Avenging Wrath are not currently available from Rune Brokers for Paladins.

Good, let the alliance overrun pvp servers and be best in pve for once, horde will now have to learn to play the game while being last place like alliance always did
What are earth are you talking about? I’ve been playing since the beginning and alliance has always been superior. Better racials and the pvp maps were in favor of alliance.
I’m not quite sure what you were playing, but Alliance racials are worse almost across the board in Classic.
Not counting Paladins, or Priest racials at least.
Escape Artist, Perception, Stone form? I’m talking PvP. Warstomp is probably number 1 but overall?
so it wasn’t enough for you guys to nick shamans windfury totem by giving it to druid as an aura… now you’re gonna nick shamans strength and agi totem too by giving it to paladin oh and why not give paladin a bloody tremor totem AURA as well just for good measure?
at this point why don’t you just delete horde lmao. if you’re gonna steal all the abilities/buffs exclusive to the horde faction and give them as an improved version to the alliance faction with a pretty ribbon on it to boot, why do you even bother having factions at all?…
reading up on these runes i can easily tell a lot of them should not even have left the drawing board… its downright insane what you’re planning here if this is legit.
who is this guy talking to
Dude calm down, the level cap is 25 of course it wont be 100% balanced
I think he has a good Point here.
Alliance gets the unique and trademark abilities from the Shaman, but doesn´t get anything in return. For Example Blessing of Kings/Might/Salvation etc.
In End-Game Classic Alliance performs a bit better than Horde and with this change, the gap will increase even more. With the current playerbase the people will even more tend towards the alliance faction with these changes.
Especially on PvP Server this can become a huge Problem.
Dude is totally right. I mean, I’m liking most of those changes and can’t wait to be able to play, but we must not forget that a huge thing that separates classic from retail is class identity and class uniqueness, which is being slaughtered here.
kings is a level 30 spell so pallys wont have it. might i thought didn’t stack with the war buff and there is a totem that reduces threat. shamys are getting water shield and earth shield both that are really good. and druids getting windfury helps both sides cus now melee will always be in range of windfury. the only real unfair i can see is the fear aura and that’s only if it doen’t act like the totem and go off in waves
Sorry but you´re wrong
Kings is a Skill in the Talentree, available at lvl 20
Battle Cry and BoM do stack in Classic (in WOTLK it doesn´t stack anymore)
The Totem that reduces Threat is crap because it competes with WF and AGI Totem. While you can have only 1 Totem per Element (groupwide), multiple Paladins buffs can be applied at the same time (raidwide)
Totems are powerful but clunky (totemrange, can get killed, can pull,…) so other classes get the Power without the clunkyness? = is even better than the Shaman-Abilities. WF is with Pala-Buffs even more powerful than on hordeside.
When you play Warrior in Classic your first Decision is:
Wanna play with Shaman support? = Horde
Wanna play with Paladin support? = Alliance
If one Faction can give you both, there is no Decision anymore.
About Class identity/lore/uniqueness we dont have to talk about it really.
Im not a Horde-Lover and the Paladin sounds great but i dont get the Point of giving one Faction some huge Power-ups while not giving the other Faction anything back.
OMG HORDE ISNT GONNA BE META FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 20 YEARS BLIZZARD HATES THE HORDE ITS NOT LIKE WE HAVE BEEN THE META FACTION SINCE TBC CAME OUT
What a totally moronic reaction.
Hunters will provide kings as an aspect.
The only edge alliance have over horde is the paladin’s op Inspiration Exemplar, but that is literally just a Tremor Totem.
Please read up before crying over something you are clearly unable to comprehend.
Have fun in SoD lads <3
What you moaning for? Horde get what they deserve like that shithole you call a capital city Orgrimmar
