How to Get the Blood Frenzy Rune
As of Phase 6, all runes and skill books can be purchased from Rune Brokers in starting zones and major cities for 1 copper a piece. Each of these vendors is simply named “Rune Broker” and can be easily spotted by their purple glow, lurking very close to where new characters enter the game. You can see all of their locations in our guide below.
Original Discovery Method
This rune can be obtained in any starting zone: Dun Morogh, Durotar, Elwynn Forest, Mulgore, Teldrassil, or Tirisfal Glades.
Dun Morogh ( Alliance Zone)
To get the Blood Frenzy rune, look for the Wandering Swordsman in Dun Morogh, east of Kharanos around 53.6, 47.6. He is a level 7 rare human and will be friendly. He only seems to appear in one location in this zone, so if you don’t find him there, you’ll need to wait for him to respawn.
Talk to the swordsman to challenge him to a duel. When you defeat him, he’ll leave a small box on the ground called Swordsman’s Reward, which you can loot for your Rune of Blood Frenzy. Right-click this item to acquire the rune.
It’s worth noting that more than one warrior can loot the box, so if there are others looking for him you can join forces so you don’t each have to wait for him to respawn.
Durotar ( Horde Zone)
To get the Blood Frenzy rune, look for the Wandering Swordsman in various locations in Durotar. He is a level 7 rare human and will be friendly.
