This guide will cover how to get the Crusader Strike rune for Paladins in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Crusader Strike Rune

As of Phase 6, all runes and skill books can be purchased from Rune Brokers in starting zones and major cities for 1 copper a piece. Each of these vendors is simply named “Rune Broker” and can be easily spotted by their purple glow, lurking very close to where new characters enter the game. You can see all of their locations in our guide below.

Original Discovery Method

This is the first rune you’ll be able to pick up, and you’ll do so through a quest in your race’s starting zone. Unlike other Paladin runes, this rune can only be obtained in your race’s starting zone. You won’t be able to complete the quest in other starting zones.

To get the Crusader Strike rune, you must be level 4 and have Judgement trained. But you can start the quest at level 2.

Visit your Paladin trainer, Bromos Grummner (28,8, 68.3), in Coldridge Valley in Dun Morogh. He’s just inside Anvilmar, the large building built into the hillside. He’ll offer the quest Relics of the Light. This quest will send you to kill Frostmane Troll Welps until one drops a Libram of Judgement. Right-click the libram to equip it in your relic slot.

To activate the libram, you must activate Seal of Righteousness (or another seal) and use your Judgement ability on 10 enemies. Each time you successfully do this, you’ll gain a stack of the Building Inspiration buff. When you’ve done it 10 times, you’ll gain the Inspired buff instead. You can then open your character window and right-click the libram to learn the rune.

Once you’ve done so, you will see the rune in the right pane of your character window. Click on it there and then click on your gloves to apply it. You’ll then be able to find Crusader Strike in your Spellbook and use it like any other ability.
