This guide will cover how to get the Homunculi rune for Priests in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Homunculi Rune
This rune can be discovered in any of the Priest starting zones: Dun Morogh, Durotar, Elwynn Forest, Teldrassil, or Tirisfal Glades.
Dun Morogh (
Alliance Zone)
To get the Homunculi rune, head to Shimmer Ridge in Dun Morogh and kill Frostmane Seer and Frostmane Shadowcaster until one drops a Prophecy of a Desecrated Citadel.
To learn the rune, you’ll need to have two different Meditation buffs active at the same time. See our Meditations Guide if you need help with this. You’ll then be able to use the item and acquire the Homunculi rune.
Durotar (
Horde Zone)
To get the Homunculi rune, head to the Echo Isles in Durotar and kill Voodoo Troll and Hexed Troll until one drops a Prophecy of a Desecrated Citadel.

Elwynn Forest ( Alliance Zone)
To get the Homunculi rune, head to Elwynn Forest and kill Defias Rogue Wizard on the island in Stonecairn Lake until one drops a Prophecy of a Desecrated Citadel.

Teldrassil ( Alliance Zone)
To get the Homunculi rune, head to Fel Rock Cave in Teldrassil and kill Dark Sprite and Rascal Sprite until one drops a Prophecy of a Desecrated Citadel.

Tirisfal Glades ( Horde Zone)
To get the Homunculi rune, head to Solliden Farmstead in Tirisfal Glades and kill Scarlet Missionary and Scarlet Warrior until one drops a Prophecy of a Desecrated Citadel.
