This guide will cover how to get the Hallowed Ground rune for Paladins in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.
- Rune: Hallowed Ground
- Engraving: Engrave Chest – Hallowed Ground
- Class: Paladin
- Slot: Chest
- Added: Phase 1 (changed in Phase 4)
- Level: 4 (Required)
This discovery method previously taught the Horn of Lordaeron ability, but it was changed in Phase 4. Horn of Lordaeron returned as a skill book in Phase 5.
How to Get the Hallowed Ground Rune
This rune can be discovered in either Loch Modan or Westfall. Loch Modan may be preferable due to respawn times.
Loch Modan ( Alliance Zone)
To get the Hallowed Ground rune, you must be at least level 4 and have trained Blessing of Might (or another buff).
Head to the Stoutlager Inn at Thelsamar in central Loch Modan (35, 48). Go downstairs and look for a book on a table called Libram of Blessings. This will give you the Libram of Blessings item, which you can right-click to equip in your relic slot.
To activate the item, you’ll need to buff 5 different characters with Blessing of Might or another buff. They do not need to be in your party for this to work. You’ll gain a stack of the Building Inspiration buff each time you do this. When you’ve done it five times, you’ll gain the Inspired buff instead. Once you have this buff, you can then open your character window and right-click the libram to learn the rune.
Westfall ( Alliance Zone)
These mobs seem to have a long respawn and may require a lot of time before you find one, so it can be faster to go to Loch Modan instead.
To get the Hallowed Ground rune, you must be at least level 4 and have trained Blessing of Might (or another buff).
Head to the Gold Coast Quarry or Jangolode Mine in western Westfall and kill Undying Laborers at 45, 26.8 until one drops a Libram of Blessings. Right-click to equip in your relic slot.
