How to Get the Inspiration Exemplar Rune
As of Phase 6, all runes and skill books can be purchased from Rune Brokers in starting zones and major cities for 1 copper a piece. Each of these vendors is simply named “Rune Broker” and can be easily spotted by their purple glow, lurking very close to where new characters enter the game. You can see all of their locations in our guide below.
Original Discovery Method
The method of discovering this rune is shared with the Druid’s Lifebloom Rune and the Priest’s Prayer of Mending Rune. You will need to group with a Paladin, Druid, or Priest to complete it. There are three different places where it can be discovered: Dun Morogh, Elwynn Forest, or Teldrassil.
Dun Morogh ( Alliance Zone)
To get Inspiration Exemplar, you will need to be grouped with another player that is capable of healing. This can be a Druid, a Priest, or another Paladin. (Mages don’t work for this, even with healing runes.)
Head to The Grizzled Den, a cave west of Kharanos in Dun Morogh, around 42, 54. Enter it and wind around until you reach the first cavern on the right. You will probably have to fight your way through some level 6-8 wendigos to get there.
Look for a corpse called Adventurer’s Remains around 43, 49.6. If someone has recently used it, you may need to wait for it to respawn.
Click on it and select “Begin the ritual.” A summoning portal will appear which your partner needs to click on to help summon an Adventurer’s Spirit. Loot Rune of Inspiration from the spirit and right-click it to learn the Rune Engraving.
Elwynn Forest ( Alliance Zone)
To get Inspiration Exemplar, you will need to be grouped with another player that is capable of healing. This can be a Druid, a Priest, or another Paladin. (Mages don’t work for this, even with healing runes.)
Look for a corpse called Adventurer’s Remains on the other side of the hill east of Jerod’s Landing in Elwynn Forest, at 52.2, 84.7. There are level 8-9 mobs nearby, but none that patrol particularly close.
Teldrassil ( Alliance Zone)
To get Inspiration Exemplar, you will need to be grouped with another player that is capable of healing. This can be a Druid, a Priest, or another Paladin. (Mages don’t work for this, even with healing runes.)
Look for a corpse called Adventurer’s Remains in the Oracle Glade in the northwest of Teldrassil, around 32, 35. It’s tucked against the hills. You’ll likely have to fight off some level 8-9 harpies.
