This guide will cover how to get the Lake of Fire rune for Warlocks in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.
To get the Lake of Fire rune, head to Hillsbrad Foothills and locate Zixil. He can be found patrolling the road between Tarren Mill and Southshore, stopping for a while at the tower in between. He sells Demolition Explosives for 1. Be careful as you can use these explosives anywhere, even in the wrong place! They are an instant cast and you will have to spend another 1 if you waste it.
When you have the explosives, head over to Durnholde Keep in the northeast corner of the zone. Go across the bridge and up the hill and enter the large ruined fort. To the right of the door at 79.7, 41.0, look for a pile of Rubble (it will say “Rubble” when you hover over it).

Stand on top of it to be sure you’re in the right place and use the Demolition Explosives. The Rubble will disappear, leaving behind a Storage Locker that you can loot for a Rune of Fires Wake. Right-click this item to learn the rune.

Apparently according to WoWHead, the bomb takes 5g to purchase.
