This guide will cover how to get the Lava Burst rune for Shamans in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Lava Burst Rune
As of Phase 6, all runes and skill books can be purchased from Rune Brokers in starting zones and major cities for 1 copper a piece. Each of these vendors is simply named “Rune Broker” and can be easily spotted by their purple glow, lurking very close to where new characters enter the game. You can see all of their locations in our guide below.
Original Discovery Method
For this one you will want to be level 25, because you’ll be killing level 27-28 mobs in a hotly contested PvP zone.
To get the Lava Burst rune, go to Nethander Stead in southeast Hillsbrad Foothills, a farm around 64, 60. Once there, kill Mudsnout Shamans until one drops a Kajaric Totem.
Once you get the icon, right-click it to equip it in your relic slot. To activate it, you’ll need to take damage from lava 5 times. The easiest way to do this is to head inside Ragefire Chasm in Orgrimmar and dance around in the lava until you gain the Inspired buff. Then you can use the relic from your character window to receive your new rune!

Can’t do this on level one, you need to be level 8 to get into Ragefirechasm. And there is no other lava spot in WoW for low levels
Man’s missing the fact you need to kill level 28 mobs and points out level 8 for lava 🤣
You’re missing the fact that high level players can kill the mobs for you so the level 1 shaman can loot it still
