This guide will cover how to get the Living Seed rune for Druids in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.
- Rune: Living Seed
- Engraving: Engrave Chest – Living Seed
- Class: Druid
- Slot: Chest
- Added: Phase 1
- Level: 5 (Recommended)
How to Get the Living Seed Rune
This rune can be found in either Mulgore or Teldrassil.
Mulgore (
Horde Zone)
To obtain the Living Seed rune, look for Prairie Flowers scattered around central Mulgore. These are bright purple flowers that can be picked by right-clicking them. Collect 3 of them and you’ll be able to combine them into a Prairie Crown.
Bring the crown to the Wooden Effigy near 37, 49 (see map, below). If someone has recently activated it, you may need to wait a few minutes for it to respawn. Target the effigy and use the crown and you will summon an Unleashed Nature Spirit, a level 7 elite elemental.
Kill the Unleashed Nature Spirit to loot the Rune of Natural Potential, which you can right-click to learn the rune.
Teldrassil (
Alliance Zone)
To obtain the Living Seed rune, look for Glade Flowers scattered around southeast Teldrassil. These are bright purple flowers that can be picked by right-clicking them. Collect 3 of them and you’ll be able to combine them into a Glade Crown.
Bring the crown to the Wooden Effigy in Starbreeze Village near 67, 58. You may have to clear some level 7-8 furbolgs who patrol the area. If someone has recently activated the effigy, you may need to wait a few minutes for it to respawn. Target the effigy and use the crown and you will summon an Unleashed Nature Spirit, a level 7 elite elemental.
Kill the Unleashed Nature Spirit to loot the Rune of Natural Potential, which you can right-click to learn the rune.

After reading the advice here I just tagged somebody elses mob with sunfire.. we both got the rune though. Mob has long respawn
