How to Get the Sniper Training Rune
There are four locations where this rune can be discovered: Darkshore, Loch Modan, The Barrens, and Westfall.
Darkshore (
Alliance Zone)
This method is shared with the Warrior’s Quick Strike Rune.
To obtain the Sniper Training rune, head to Darkshore and look for a harpoon along the northern shore. You may find it stuck in a rock or the skeleton of a large creature. Click it to get a Gnarled Harpoon.
With the harpoon in your bag, swim out around 48, 15 to find a level 20 elite thresher, Paxnozz. Kill it to loot the rune.
Loch Modan ( Alliance Zone)
To obtain the Sniper Training rune, head to the island in the center of the lake in Loch Modan, around 53, 56, and look for an elite crocolisk named Kackle. Kill it to loot the rune.
The Barrens (
Horde Zone)
This method is shared with the Warrior’s Quick Strike Rune.
To obtain the Sniper Training rune, head to Ratchet in The Barrens and find Kilxx at the dock. He sells a Fishing Harpoon. Buy one and swim out into the ocean to look for Bruuz, a level 20 elite shark, around 65, 40. He’s underwater near a sunken ship. Kill it to loot the rune.
Westfall ( Alliance Zone)
To obtain the Sniper Training rune, head to Westfall and look for an elite named Defias Scout just southwest of Sentinel Hill, around 52, 56. Kill her to loot the rune.
