This guide will cover how to get the Sheath of Light rune for Paladins in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.
Head to Mannoroc Coven in Desolace (52.6, 84.8) and look for a Broken Hammer on the ground. Pick this up and use it to start the quest The Broken Hammer. Then kill some Burning Blade Summoners and Burning Blade Invokers to loot a Torn Letter. You need both items to continue. (You must pick up the hammer and start the quest first or you won’t be able to loot the letter.)

Take the letter to Katherine the Pure in the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind (37.2, 31.9) and progress her dialogue. She’ll give you the quest A Lost Brother.

Now travel to the docks of Menethil Harbor in Wetlands and talk to Harold Riggs (8.1, 58.6).

Then swim to Newman’s Landing off the coast of Dun Morogh. This is an out of bounds area that is not actually part of the zone. Look for the body of a crusader (43, 59 on Eastern Kingdoms map). You’ll be ambushed by a level 40 elite and must defeat them to pick up Orders from the Grand Crusader, which will give you a quest of the same name.

Return to Stormwind to turn in the quest and progress Katherine’s dialogue again to pick up Aeonas the Vindicated.

Finally, return to Stormwind once more to turn in the quest and receive your rune!

YOu could add that after killing the level 40 elite behind coldridge, you can drown yourself or go die from fatique and spawn at the spirit resser in Westfall, and ress there, as a shortcut
At the end you have to heal Aeonus before SW

You need to pick up the hammer to start the quest chain for the letters to drop, dont waste you time killing summoners if you dont have the quest
