This guide will cover how to get the Shockwave rune for Warriors in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Shockwave Rune
To get the Shockwave rune you will have to go to Tanaris and head to the southern coast. There you will find a Half-Buried Mech in the sand (59.3, 91.4). Interact with it and accept the Beach Bot quest. Dislodge the robot to receive a Guided Buoyancy Accelerant and progress to the next quest, Mechanical Romance.
Keep the Guided Buoyancy Accelerant and swim towards the island that can be observed in the distance. You will see an oil rig platform that is situated near the island; ignore it and continue heading to the island. Eventually, you will enter a “Fatigue” area, and you will have to cross it by either utilizing the Guided Buoyancy Accelerant or the Water Treads sold by Duke Hydraxis in Azshara.
Once you reach the island, head to the other side of it and go to the oil rig that can be observed nearby. You will find an NPC named Sebastian Jurgens. Pick up the follow-up quest from him, Frosty Favors.
Now head to Everlook in Winterspring and interact with Numi (61.2, 37.0). She will give you the Red Bag Blues quest.
Go to the northern hills of Burning Steppes to retrieve her lost Red Bag (53.0, 24.8). Finding the bag will allow you to complete the Red Bag Blues, rewarding you with a 16-slot bag, and pick up the next quest, Poacher’s Den.
This quest requires collecting 5 Vertically Composited Patch Hamplers and 5 Brass-fitted Flam-Tamp Flanges, both of which can be found on the ground in the area or looted from the following Undermarket mobs nearby:
- Abel
- Harrigen
- Montrose
- Pilo
- Blackrock Bootlegger
- Sulfuron Smuggler
When you have the items you need, head back to Numi at Everlook in Winterspring. She’ll give you the quest Bookin’ it Back.
You will probably need some help for this part. Travel back to the oil rig where you found Sebastian Jurgens to turn in this quest and pick up Rift Away. He will teleport you to either Westfall or Tirisfal Glades depending on whether you are Alliance or Horde. Once you’re teleported to either of the two, talk to Sebastian again and use the machine to spawn a Harvest Golem V000-A, a mechanical level 60 Elite. Kill it, and loot the Mech Arm it leaves behind to complete the quest and receive your Premonition and Combat Foresight, which teaches the rune.
