• Class: Warlock
• Slot: Feet
• Added: Phase 2
• Level: 30 (Required)

How to Get the Dance of the Wicked Rune

This rune can be discovered in Alterac Mountains, Desolace, Stranglethorn Vale, or Thousand Needles.

Alterac Mountains (Contested Zone)

To get the Dance of the Wicked rune, you must be level 30 and have the Hellfire ability trained. But you can pick up the item you need before that level.

• Look for the cave between Ruins of Alterac and Strahnbrad in central Alterac Mountains and locate a Reckless Warlock corpse on the ground at 54.4, 49.6. Interact with it to loot a Brimstone Carving.
• Use Hellfire with this item in your bags to get the rune. You may need to fully channel the ability, or just do it until you are below 70% health.

Desolace (Contested Zone)

To get the Dance of the Wicked rune, you must be level 30 and have the Hellfire ability trained. But you can pick up the item you need before that level.

• Travel to Sargeron in the northeastern corner of Desolace and look for a Reckless Warlock corpse on the ground at 74.8, 13.2. Click it to get a Brimstone Carving.
• Use Hellfire with this item in your bags to get the rune. You may need to fully channel the ability, or just do it until you are below 70% health.

Stranglethorn Vale (Contested Zone)

To get the Dance of the Wicked rune, you must be level 30 and have the Hellfire ability trained. But you can pick up the item you need before that level.

• Go to the Gurubashi Arena in western Stranglethorn Vale and look for a Reckless Warlock corpse on the ground at 30.8, 47.0. Click it to loot a Brimstone Carving.
• Use Hellfire with this item in your bags to get the rune. You may need to fully channel the ability, or just do it until you are below 70% health.

Thousand Needles (Contested Zone)

To get the Dance of the Wicked rune, you must be level 30 and have the Hellfire ability trained. But you can pick up the item you need before that level.

• Head to the Highperch area in northwest Thousand Needles and look for a Reckless Warlock corpse on the ground at 11.2, 40.4. Interact with it to obtain a Brimstone Carving.
• Use Hellfire with this item in your bags to get the rune. You may need to fully channel the ability, or just do it until you are below 70% health.
