This guide will cover how to get the Elune’s Fires rune for Druids in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Elune’s Fires Rune

As of Phase 6, all runes and skill books can be purchased from Rune Brokers in starting zones and major cities for 1 copper a piece. Each of these vendors is simply named “Rune Broker” and can be easily spotted by their purple glow, lurking very close to where new characters enter the game. You can see all of their locations in our guide below.

Original Discovery Method

Head to the ruins in western Azshara and locate a Traveller’s Knapsack on the ground inside (20.60, 61.97). Loot and read Keldara’s Log.

Then, collect 3 Satyrweed Samples (they look like big green pods) around the ruins, in any order (you can collect the same one multiple times) and make a Satyrweed Tincture with them using the Mortar and Pestle you received.

  • One will be at the bottom of the stairs to the southwest, near (20, 65)
  • One is at the western side on top of the slope, near (20, 62)
  • One is at the east side on top of the hill, near (21, 61)

Now, Hibernate a green Thunderhead Hippogryph that has the Satyr Corruption debuff on it near (17, 60), and then use the tincture on it to remove the debuff. When you do this, you will receive your Rune of the Moon Goddess.

Thrall is the best Warcraft character; tell me I'm wrong. Long-time Blizzard fan who thinks that gnomes are the worst type of people and rogues don't tip (except into your spine). Flying mounts should never have been added to the game, and playing 12 hours of WoW a day just makes you "dedicated."
