This guide will cover how to get the Fanaticism Rune for Paladins in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Fanaticism Rune
As of Phase 6, all runes and skill books can be purchased from Rune Brokers in starting zones and major cities for 1 copper a piece. Each of these vendors is simply named “Rune Broker” and can be easily spotted by their purple glow, lurking very close to where new characters enter the game. You can see all of their locations in our guide below.
Original Discovery Method
To get this rune, you must first have the Sheath of Light rune, and you will need to be at least level 44 in order to pick up the quest.
First, speak with Aeonas the Vindicated at the Cathedral in Stormwind City (37.6, 31.6). Then talk to Katherine the Pure nearby, who will give you the quest The Mysterious Merchant.
This quest sends you to Theramore Isle in Dustwallow Marsh. There you’ll find Elrick inside Theramore Inn (66.4, 45.4) and progress the quest to Elrick, Paladin of the Silver Hand. You will now have to fight Elrick along with a Stern-faced Bar Patron. Defeat them and you’ll be able to loot a Bloody Missive that advances the quest to The Bloody Missive.
Head back to Katherine the Pure in Stormwind City to turn in the quest and receive your rune.
